Ram Nath Kovind born on 1st Oct 1945,he is an Indian politician who is serving as the fourteenth and current president of India since July 25, 2017. Previously, he served as the 26th Governor of Bihar from 2015 to 2017, and he was a member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha from 1994 to 2006. Kovind has been nominated as a presidential candidate by the ruling NDA coalition and has won the 2017 presidential election. Before entering into politics, he worked as a lawyer for 16 years and served in the Delhi High Court and Supreme Court until 1993.
